    • Upon first inspection of the vehicle vehicle has an ABS light and a brake light on. It's scanned vehicle, see photos attached, there are codes present in the computers in the ABS computer there is a code present for the rear wheel speed sensor. Using scanner and taking for test drive, was able to determine there is an erratic signal coming from the rear wheel speed sensor. Does where we are getting signal so power and ground to repair to be fine for now, but need to put on left to get visual inspection to make sure there is no damage. When on the left, who was able to determine rear wheel speed sensor is called a vehicle speed sensor according to service information. This sensor is located on the top left portion rearmost of the transfer case. No physical damage can be seen at sensor. Unable to check internals of transfer case without full rebuild of transfer case, at this time we are recommending replacement of rear vehicle speed sensor. In regard to dash cluster concerns, was able to replicate concern during test drive and verify that the speedometer is bouncing around while maintaining speed. Further diagnostic time is requested at this time for removal of dash cluster and wire testing. Very highly suspicious that the vehicle will need a new dash cluster to fix concern.
    • Pawn replacement of the vehicle speed sensor on the rear removal of sensor, see photos attached, do notes there is notable damage to the pickup surface area of the sensor. Using inspection camera to place down whole wear sensor was installed before installing new sensor was able to see and determine that the reluctor wheel for the pickup system does appear to be a bit marred and damaged. New sensor was installed vehicle had scanner hooked up to monitor vehicle speed data for test drive. During drive looking at signal was able to determine new sensor did clean up signal. Dash cluster was reinstalled after being sent out for rebuild. On test drive did not see any needles bouncing and does appear to be functional a lot better compared to when before rebuilt.
