- I was unable to get the van started at first, then I jiggled the key in the lock cylinder and it finally turned and I was able to start the vehicle no problem. I recommend a lock cylinder. I hear noise when braking so I recommend a brake inspection as well. I hooked up the scan tool and found codes for transmission issues. PO700, PO741, PO796, and P1258. Then ya have PO449 which is evap related. Last code is CO755 which is for the TPMS issue. I cleared the codes and test drove the vehicle and the transmission shifted just fine. I was unable to duplicate the customers concern regarding the transmission issue once I cleared the codes. I removed the pan and these metal shavings are in the bottom of the transmission pan.
- Tested the blower motor with power probe, the blower works and is getting 9.9V which is less than it should be getting. I tested the blower motor relay, and it is receiving 12.6V which tells me the blower motor is going to require being replaced.
- COURTESY INSPECTION FOUND: this cover for the fuses is missing.

- REMOVED TRANSMISSION PAN AND INSPECT FOR CONDITION. FOUND METAL SHAVINGS ON MAGNATE AND IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION PAN. RECOMMEND REPLACE TRANSMISSION.
- Dissembled as needed to gain access to and replace transmission assembly, includes chemical flush performed on transmission cooler, reassemble and refill with DEXRON VI approved fluid, perform programming procedure and test drive vehicle for proper operation transmission is operating as designed at this time.
