Services Performed
- Inspected vehicle for cranks but no start condition, connected scan tool and checked for Cam and crank signals both tested good check for injector signal down there was no fuel injector signal to any and vehicle had stored codes for injector faults on all eight cylinders for power and was no power to injectors moved to fuse box and tested uses, found power feed fuse for injectors/fuel pump relay blown, replaced fuse and relay and vehicle now starts and runs on all eight cylinders, suspect high amperage drop from fuel pump caused fuse to blow but is testing okay at this time. Recommend due to vehicle mileage and common failure rate of these components would not replace fuel pump assembly, and fuel pump control module, and fuel filter.
- Brake inspection showed rear brakes down to 3 mm remaining, and front brakes 2 mm remaining on one side and 5 mm pad thickness on the other side indicating caliper slider pins corroded and stuck or possible caliper dragging would need to completely disassemble front brakes to isolate down to component level. Recommend rear brake pads and rotors, front brake pads and rotors, and possibly calipers based on findings when disassemble front brakes, and DOT4 brake fluid flush.
- DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Front,Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]
- REMOVE AND REPLACE BRAKE FLUID IN THE MASTER CYLINDER AND FLUSH OUT BRAKE LINES TO EACH WHEEL.
- DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Rear,Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]
- FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE – Remove & Replace – (FPDM) – [DOES NOT include test.]
- FUEL PUMP – Remove & Replace – In Tank,w/Two Piece Driveshaft – [Includes: R&I Fuel Tank.] – [DOES NOT include test.]
