2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Connected scan tool for check engine light diagnosis and had some fire cylinder 3 and cylinder 5 codes stored in memory, was unable to duplicate condition of misfire so cleared codes and reset all adaptive parameters and performed extended test drive tech noted when cruising at steady speed RPM would fluctuate up and down 200 RPMs or so continued test drive monitoring accelerator pedal and throttle body position sensors and found accelerator pedal position sensor 2 fluctuating when RPM would also fluctuate indicating faulty accelerator pedal assembly, recommend replacement and retest. Vehicle is equipped with adjustable pedals.
