- Inspected and found that there have been a lot of recent repairs. Front struts, brakes, right front hub, and right front axle. Initial inspection found that the van would not move when the transmission was shifted to drive. While inspecting found that the retainer, for the right front axle, is missing (never installed). The axle came out of the transmission causing the transmission to free spin. Also found that the right front axle nut was not tightened properly, potentially causing damage to the new wheel bearing. The wheel bearing is very loose right now and could have been damaged from being driven on while loose. Will need to install a new axle retainer (part of the bearing bracket) and will also need to tighten the axle nut to proper torque specs to determine if the bearing needs to be replaced. Scanned computer and found codes P0037 O2 heater control circuit low bank 1 sensor 2. P0446 EVAP system vent control fault . P0500 vehicle speed sensor A fault. It is likely that P0500 was caused by the axle coming out of the transmission but will need to perform initial repairs then re-evaluate. P0037 the bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor heater is showing no amp draw indicating a failed O2 sensor heater. P0446 is likely caused by the fuel cap not sealing all the way. Need to be replace the fuel cap before any further testing of the EVAP system can be done. Note: additional repairs to the EVAP system will likely be needed.
